Meeting Minutes: 11th March 2021

KIMBOLTON & STONELY PARISH COUNCIL

MINUTES of the Council meeting held at 7 p.m. on Thursday 11 March 2021 by means of video conferencing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

PRESENT  Councillors P Seabrook; D Poole; Mrs C Jessup; L Farrer ; Mrs D Hellett; Mrs R Lloyd and Mrs E Milne.

IN ATTENDANCE  District Councillor J Gray and C L Thatcher, Clerk to the Council.

32/21  APOLOGIES  were received from Councillors Hutchinson and Ms Mugglestone

33/21  PUBLIC FORUM  was not used.

34/21  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST.   

Councillor Mrs Hellett declared an interest in the ongoing matter of Mulberry Cottage stables.

35/21  PLANNING

Applications.    

The following applications were considered-

20/02477  10 Stow Rd, Kimbolton – single storey rear extension

It was proposed by Councillor Mrs Lloyd, seconded by Councillor Mrs Milne and unanimously agreed to recommend approval as appropriate development.

21/00424/TREE  8 Station Rd, Kimbolton – fell 11 trees, crown reductions on others.

It was proposed by Councillor Mrs Hellett, seconded by Councillor Mrs Milne and agreed to recommend approval.

21/00179  20 Castle Gardens, Kimbolton – install LPG tank under front garden.

It was proposed by Councillor Mrs Hellett, seconded by Councillor Mrs Milne and agreed to recommend approval as appropriate development.

21/00005/NONDET  Land at 23 Stow Road, Kimbolton – to consider response to appeal.

It was noted that the appeal related to non-determination by Huntingdonshire District Council.  Nevertheless, it was agreed to write to the Inspector and reiterate our previous decisions recommending refusal i.e. backland development and out of character with surroundings.
